Salt is considered the most essential pantry ingredient used year-round in cooking. However, I think this ingredient truly shines during summer. Take a look at the video above announcing salt as the ingredient of the week. I’m excited to cook in the moment with you, using salt to bring out the best in the bounty of summer. Thanks for watching!

Hi Jess, thought I’d have a quick look at your site, and I’m very impressed. Must be at work in 30 mins, so I don’t have enough time to share all my thoughts that came to me when I opened your website with you. But just a quick note about salt. I think it’s sad that salt is always associated with high blood preasure and unhealthy eating, and forgotten is that man cannot live without salt. When Iwas diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in May, one of the treatment was to dissolve a teaspoon of himalaya salt in water after getting up in the morning to help the adrenals replenish themselves, and to remineralise my aching body. I have suffered from extremely low blood preasure and too low body temperature for as long as I can remember. This has gotten much better since I take my salt drink, and I no longer get dizzy every time I get up out of bed/ a chair or what ever. So heres to good salt! Kind regards, Barbara
Thanks for stopping by, Barbara! It is sad how salt has been demonized. I’m glad salt has helped you. Take care!
